Plain English: Use EmberType however you want on up to 3 personal Macs. Don't share your license key. We offer refunds within 14 days if you're not satisfied.
By downloading, installing, or using EmberType, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the software.
These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and EmberType ("we", "us", "our").
When you purchase EmberType, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software under the following conditions:
EmberType's source code is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3 (GPL v3). This means:
When you purchase EmberType, you're paying for the convenience of a ready-to-use application, automatic updates, and customer support — not for the source code itself.
EmberType offers a 7-day free trial with full functionality. Download EmberType to start your trial. During the trial:
If you're not satisfied with EmberType for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase. No questions asked.
Once refunded, your license key will be deactivated. You may continue using the free trial features until the trial expires, or build from source under GPL v3.
We reserve the right to decline refund requests that appear fraudulent or abusive (e.g., repeated purchases and refunds, or refund requests significantly after the 14-day period).
Payments are processed by Polar.sh, a third-party payment processor. By making a purchase, you also agree to Polar.sh's terms of service. We do not store your payment information. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
